THERMAL INKJET PRINTERS
Thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers are clean, consistent, and cost effective without the mess and maintenance of continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers. These printers produce alphanumeric characters and logos from 1/16″ to 3”, making them perfect for date coding, unique device identification (UDI) barcoding, and tracking and tracing. They print crisp and clear up to 600 dpi on any substrate.

With a quick print changeover that requires very little downtime and a new printhead delivered with every cartridge change, TIJ printers are easy to maintain with a simple daily wipe-down using a lint-free towel.

These versatile printers use HP technology with user-friendly software, giving you the flexibility to adapt to changes in printing and coding.

NO MESS

CLEAN & EASY

TIJ Printers will save you from the dreaded mess caused by continuous ink jet printers. For small print jobs, especially for product dating on food and beverage packaging or for lot codes printed on PVC piping and other building products, thermal ink jet printers are a clean and efficient means for coding.

Each disposable cartridge is essentially a new printhead that prints 1,000,000+ codes with resolution up to 600 DPI in various colors.

Downtime is minimal and requires only changing the cartridge with a simple click-in mechanism. You’ll be printing within 30 minutes of plugging in the system. You don’t have to worry about the ink congealing if not run continuously, or replacing multiple moving parts, or ink that covers your conveyor and floor. This washdown model is useable on form, fill, and seal machines and is especially ideal for poultry and meat packaging applications. Ink colors include black, white, blue, and red. This is a compact printer and controller in one unit, with power and data over ethernet.
